Changing your plan
When you switch plans, your current subscription stops and the new one starts as soon as the payment succeeds. The billing period restarts from that moment.
Fair use & reasonable limits
StorySmith uses a fair‑use policy so that “unlimited” features stay fast and usable for everyone, not just for a handful of heavy users.
- Creative use only: Unlimited tools are intended for real human workflows. Automated bots, mass scraping or scripted farms are not allowed.
- Protecting the platform: If one account’s usage noticeably harms stability or costs, we may temporarily slow down or cap generations.
- Abuse handling: For extreme or unusual behaviour we may ask you to adjust. Clear abuse can lead to suspension or closure of the account.
- Questions or appeals: If you think a limit is unfair or need clarification, email support@studio-kristof.com .
Free trials
To prevent abuse, StorySmith may change trial length and features depending on region, risk patterns or promotions. In some places only a shorter or simplified trial might be available.
These changes are there to protect the service as a whole and are never aimed at individual users.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. If a renewal has already been charged, cancellation stops the next cycle but does not refund the current one.
Stopping your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals, but payments that are already processed are not refunded. Any remaining credits expire at the end of the period.
Discounts or coupon codes are also non‑refundable and only one can be used per purchase.

Refund policy
Running AI models is costly, so StorySmith subscriptions are non‑refundable once a payment has been made. This applies to partial months, unused time and accidental purchases.
